Yesterday evening we arrived in San Fransisco. We’ve set off in Brussels around 0800 hours local time and got here around 1600 local time. It has been quite a long and exhausting trip for me and the colleagues but we are all happy to be here and are looking forward to the Java One conference. The long flight was a good opportunity to catch up with colleagues and talk about all the kind off stuff you normally don’t get around to :-).

This week will be a busy week and I hope we all get around to it to give you some nice updates of the Java One conference every day. Besides the conference we will also take a few moments of our time to to do some sight seeing in San Fransisco. Tomorrow, for example, we will be kicking off our trip with a visit to Alcatraz! After that a visit to the golden gate bridge and the muir woods.
